Ravenna Amalia currently resides on the Big Island of Hawai'i. She is perpetually inspired by breathtaking natural beauty everywhere. Ravenna's art reflects her deep love of nature, fascination with the metaphysical powers of gemstones (to the point of obsession), and the exploratory joy of beach-combing. She appreciates having a peaceful environment in which to create artwork, with the songs of birds, crickets, and frogs for background music. Deeply aware of the innate spirituality infusing life force into all things, she endeavors to create artistic expressions of inspiration and healing for all who encounter her work.

A Renaissance Woman of sorts, Ravenna is an experienced intuitive Massage Therapist (trained in Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Hot Stone {Pohaku}, Swedish, Reflexology, and Sports Massage), as well as actively involved in Art Modeling. She also spends time helping others with Personal / Professional / Event Organizing, Writing / Editing, Gardening, Cooking, Making Potions and Elixirs, and other odd jobs... Her latest interests include Moringa trees and Beekeeping.

The artist's life can be a challenging and uncertain path, yet the freedom it allows and insights it reveals are well worth the effort. And of course, a healthy dose of trust in the Universe always helps.
